In a press statement, Medvedev referred to the Zelensky regime, saying, “This abscess that has formed in Europe, which will ultimately be used against us, will be eradicated… And the Ukrainian people, who are tired of the ‘Bandera clique’ (followers of the extreme Ukrainian nationalist leader Stepan Bandera), can also do it themselves (overthrow Zelensky).” Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel: “Trump, during his meeting with the weeping beggar (Zelensky), said something clear but intriguing: (Let both Russia and Ukraine recognize themselves as victors in the conflict). Yes, this often happens after military confrontations, but not in our case.” Medvedev continued: “Zelensky is fully aware that all his political rivals, as well as all the new Nazis in Ukraine, will not forgive him for losing territories. Therefore, the end of the war means the disappearance of the regime. It can be confidently said that Trump’s words do not align with this situation at all.”
