As the academic year begins, Melodica Music Academy has unveiled an exciting Back-to-School initiative aimed at fostering creativity, confidence, and musical expression among students in the UAE.

Partnering with Aldar Academies in Abu Dhabi and the ARN Radio Network in Dubai, Melodica has launched interactive music programs in six Abu Dhabi schools and over 30 Dubai schools. This campaign strives to ignite a passion for music and dance, uncover hidden talents, and make these arts more accessible to young learners.

During the school activities, students explored a range of instruments — from piano, drums, and guitars to ukuleles. With guidance from Melodica’s skilled music teachers, they were encouraged to experiment, discovering instruments that matched their interests. Teachers also identified natural talents, underscoring the campaign’s success in forging students’ initial meaningful connections with music.

Beyond classrooms, the tie-up with ARN Radio expanded the campaign’s reach by hosting contests, sharing inspiring student stories, and creating engagement opportunities for families and young musicians throughout Dubai.

Afshin, the founder of Melodica Music Academy, stated: “As a musician, I understand the impact of that first instrument encounter. Through this Back-to-School campaign, we aim to spark children’s interest, providing a chance to build confidence, creativity, and joy through music.”

To ensure affordability, Melodica is offering up to 30% off on music and dance classes during the Back-to-School season. The program includes trial classes, allowing families to assess lessons before committing long-term. Competitions are underway, offering prizes like free classes and musical instruments. Winners from Aldar Academies will be announced in October, while ARN-led event prizes are awarded during school events.

Melodica Music Academy is now one of the UAE’s leading music and dance institutions, boasting over 25 branches across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Sharjah. With over 25,000 students enrolled, guided by international teachers and a curriculum aligned with global boards like ABRSM, Trinity, MTB, and RAD, the academy emphasizes performance, personal growth, and certification opportunities, enabling students to pursue music and dance both professionally and recreationally.

Besides skill development, music and dance help children build discipline, coordination, confidence, and self-expression — attributes that benefit their academic and personal lives. In a culturally diverse country like the UAE, Melodica views the arts as a connector of communities and a celebration of creativity.

The Back-to-School campaign continues through September, with Aldar Academies contest winners announced in October. Meanwhile, students are encouraged to explore instruments, dance styles, and lessons that may ignite lifelong interests.
