The newspaper “Hespress” reported on Wednesday evening that “the total size of Moroccan aid is about 180 tons, consisting of essential foodstuffs, milk, and items specifically for children, as well as medicines and surgical equipment for the most vulnerable population.” It confirmed that the Moroccan humanitarian aid also includes blankets, prepared tents, and other equipment, to be sent via a special route that will allow it to be delivered quickly and directly to the Palestinian beneficiaries.
In a related context, the death toll from famine and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip has risen to 154 deaths, including 89 children, after 7 new deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.
The Gaza Strip is experiencing the worst humanitarian crises, as the region’s inhabitants suffer from severe famine imposed by Israel since October 7, 2023. Israel has closed all crossings with the strip for months, preventing the entry of most food and medical aid, leading to the spread of famine.
Since October 7, 2023, until the current July, the war on Gaza has resulted in the death of more than 59,000 Palestinians, in addition to about 143,000 injured, according to data from the Ministry of Health in the region.
