In response to a question from a journalist on the “Zvezda” television channel about the possibility of holding a meeting in the near future, Ushakov stated, “Certainly, it could happen.” Regarding Moscow’s readiness to continue working with, Ushakov said, “I believe we are making progress in the main negotiations in which our president is involved. This is encouraging, and we are ready to continue working with this American team.”
When asked about the content of the issues discussed during the meeting with US representatives at the Kremlin, he replied, “All discussions of the issues in Moscow were based on the main understandings reached in.” The US president added that “it will eventually be resolved,” noting that steps have already been completed.
Trump said, “Eight of them have already been settled, and there is another one. It concerns Russia and Ukraine if possible, and I believe that in the end, we will succeed in reaching a solution.” Both parties agreed to continue working and not to disclose the details of what took place in the session. The Russian delegation included Kirill Dmitriev, Director of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, along with the presidential aide.
