Tensions Rise Over Ukraine Conflict Resolution

Susskind said on his YouTube channel: “They told you (Zelensky) to come to Moscow, talk, and discuss everything we need, but he refused. Trump repeated this in the White House, and he refused again. Now the Europeans are dragging him by his ears so they don’t lose such a valuable asset. In the end, they need to buy time before Zelensky refuses again.

He continued: “Ukraine has been bankrupt for a long time. It can no longer operate on its own, yet the military needs the hryvnia (Ukrainian currency). What strong position are you talking about in this statement? Are you deceiving the people?”

A number of European leaders and Volodymyr Zelensky issued a “joint call” on Tuesday, urging the end of the conflict in Ukraine along the current front line. The statement was signed by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

The Kremlin noted that the possibility of freezing the Ukrainian conflict has been raised repeatedly, to varying degrees, during communications between Russia and the United States. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Moscow’s position on this issue remains unchanged. He pointed out that European countries are now inciting the Kyiv regime to continue fighting.

Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier emphasized that reaching a long-term solution to the Ukrainian crisis requires addressing its root causes.
