The train halted around 6:15pm near Mysore Colony, between Chembur and Bhakti Park, as reported by the BMC. The incident was triggered by a power supply failure caused by overcrowding, which surpassed the train’s capacity.
Passengers on the monorail reached out to the BMC’s helpline for prompt support. A medical team from the municipal corporation was on-site with ambulances. Six individuals who felt unwell were treated in the ambulance and subsequently sent home.
