Following a challenging period of legal battles and accusations, it has been confirmed that the youngest members of the K-pop group NewJeans will continue their careers with ADOR.
This decision comes after a South Korean court denied the members’ attempt to break their contracts with the label due to alleged “mistreatment.”
In February, the members attempted to establish a new group named NJZ, but ADOR secured a court order preventing them from proceeding with this new identity.

Post-ruling, ADOR reportedly encouraged the members to return, announcing preparation for a new album release, as reported by AFP.
On Wednesday, November 12, the label shared on X that Haerin, 19, and Hyein, 17, “expressed their intent to continue with ADOR,” respecting the court’s decision. This choice followed comprehensive discussions with their families.
“ADOR is committed to ensuring that Haerin and Hyein’s activities proceed smoothly. We ask fans for their support and to avoid unfounded speculations,” the statement read.
The five-member group debuted in 2023 with hit tracks ‘Hype Boy’ and ‘Attention,’ achieving swift global and domestic success. However, tensions arose when Hybe, ADOR’s parent company, removed CEO Min Hee Jin, leading the members to demand her return. Hybe’s rejection resulted in public claims of mistreatment, legal actions, and injunctions.
The future of NewJeans’ older members with ADOR remains uncertain.
