The Pakistan team, led by Salman Agha, canceled their pre-match press conference ahead of the much-anticipated Asia Cup Super Four clash with India at Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.

The former Asian champions were initially set to address the media at 6 pm in Dubai on Saturday.

Despite this, the team arrived punctually at the ICC Academy for their pre-match training session on Saturday.

Pakistan had also previously canceled their pre-match press conference before the crucial game against the UAE.

After threatening to boycott the UAE match due to a controversial handshake incident with India, Pakistan showed up an hour late, causing a delayed start to the game.

Pakistan eventually secured a 41-run victory, advancing to the Super Four stage.

Now, all attention turns to Sunday’s game, following the group stage controversies on September 14 when India’s handshake snub caused a stir in the tournament.

In their previous encounter, Pakistan lost to India by seven wickets, marking the first match between the two nations since tensions nearly led to war in May.

Agha’s squad is eager to deliver a winning performance against India at Dubai International Stadium this Sunday.
