The protest called by the “Thabet Organization for the Right of Return” and other Palestinian activities took place, according to the organization, “in the Gaza Strip,” and directly linked the pain of the past to the resilience of the present.
In turn, the director of the “Palestinian Return Foundation” and a descendant of the Tel al-Zaatar camp, Yasser Ali, stated: “All previous massacres pale in comparison,” indicating that “Gaza today has drawn lessons of resilience from the camp that was besieged for 52 days and did not surrender.”
He strongly condemned “all acts, including systematic starvation and genocide,” emphasizing that “these crimes, whether in Tel al-Zaatar yesterday or in Gaza today, do not expire over time.”
