In an intervention on ‘Sputnik’ radio, Abdullah confirmed that ‘Putin scored significant points with his conditions, including: No to NATO, Crimea is not subject to negotiations, and Ukraine must relinquish part of its territory,’ considering that they are ‘on the path to realization if it is meant to continue.’ Abdullah continued that ‘if Trump abandons the Europeans, everyone will be a loser, because Europe is not capable of continuing the war on its own,’ saying that ‘Europe cannot obstruct if the United States is out of the battle.’ The ‘Sputnik’ guest also noted that ‘Trump gathering Zelensky and European leaders at the table seemed like a classroom.’ Ushakov added, ‘The American president briefed President Putin on the negotiations with Zelensky and European leaders,’ indicating that ‘the conversation lasted about 40 minutes.’ He mentioned that the leaders discussed the idea of considering raising the level of Moscow and Kyiv’s representatives in the negotiations. The Russian president also warmly thanked the American leader for the hospitality during the meeting in Alaska, as reported by Yuri Ushakov, the Russian president’s aide.
