An Australian lawmaker was astonished to find his pet dog had invited a bull and a horse into his living room.
Northern Territory politician Andrew Mackay shared footage from his pet cam on social media over the weekend, revealing the amusing incident.
The video shows his two dogs leaving the living room after one, a mixed breed named Thunder, nudges open a glass door.
Following this, a pet steer named Sue cautiously enters the Darwin home.
Trailing behind is a pet horse, Cricket, which curiously sniffs the couch.
While Mackay and his fiancée dined out, the animals embarked on their indoor adventure.
The couple hurried back when Mackay saw “a cow’s head moving into view” on the pet cam.
“We realized about 10 minutes after leaving, the dogs decided to open the glass door and let themselves out,” he told AFP.
Soon after, the steer scratched his neck on the door, accidentally opening it further for him and the horse.
“Over the next hour and a half, they took turns playing indoors, knocking items off cabinets,” Mackay recounted.
The horse discovered a bowl of vegetable scraps intended for the chickens, scattering pieces around the room.
“The fish tank was drunk from, and while I’m not sure how many fish were there before, I assume they’re all still alive,” he added.
“But a significant amount of water was spilled.”
