Beloved royal couple, the Prince and Princess of Brunei, have delighted the internet with exciting news once more. Nearly two years after their enchanting wedding, they have announced they are expecting their first child.
Prince Abdul Mateen shared a touching black and white photo of the couple on a balcony, captioned, “And then there were 3.”
In the photo, Princess Anisha Rosnah Isa-Kalebic, wearing a flowing white gown, lovingly places her hand near her belly while gazing at her husband with a warm smile.

The couple wed in a grand 10-day celebration in January 2024. Prince Abdul Mateen, aged 34, is the tenth child and fourth son of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei, once known as ‘Asia’s most eligible bachelor’.
Though sixth in line for the throne, the prince has become well-known by accompanying his father on diplomatic missions. Meanwhile, 30-year-old Anisha is the granddaughter of the Sultan’s special advisor. The couple were rumored to be dating since 2018 and announced their engagement in October 2023.
The prince’s Instagram announcement received an outpouring of congratulations, including one fan remarking, “Our parents.”
With 3.1 million followers, Prince Abdul Mateen frequently shares snapshots of his life with Princess Anisha, including their attendance at sporting and royal events, as well as glimpses into their holidays and everyday moments.
