The congratulatory message published on the Uzbek president’s website stated: “The relations between our two countries are developing dynamically in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance. Effective coordination of efforts has been established within the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and other multilateral bodies.” Putin added: “I am confident that we will continue to build mutually beneficial Russian-Uzbek relations in all fields. This fully meets the interests of our friendly peoples and aligns with enhancing security and stability in Central Asia.” Putin wished Mirziyoyev good health and success, and prosperity and well-being for the Uzbek people.
