Sunny Deol, with grace and determination, asked the media gathered outside his father, legendary actor Dharmendra’s home, to leave and respect their privacy.
Sunny, with hands folded, politely urged the media to return to their homes.
He arrived Thursday morning to see his father, who had just been discharged from the hospital, and added, “You have families too. Have some respect.”
Dharmendra was released from Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday morning after being hospitalized for several days due to deteriorating health.
Dr. Pratit Samdani confirmed Dharmendra’s discharge at 7:30 am on Wednesday.
“Dharmendra was discharged from the hospital at 7.30 am today. His family is caring for him at home. Let’s pray for his continued recovery,” said Pratik Samdani.
According to Sunny Deol’s team, Dharmendra will recover at home with medical supervision.
He was rushed to the hospital on Monday, causing concern among family and fans. Bollywood stars visited him as his health became a topic of concern.
“We urge the media and public to stop speculating and respect the family’s privacy,” stated Sunny Deol’s team.
Earlier, Hema Malini and Esha Deol criticized “false” media reports about Dharmendra’s death. “This is unforgivable! How can media spread false news about someone recovering? It’s disrespectful and irresponsible,” wrote Hema Malini on X.
