Putin Discusses Forces and Operations in Ukraine

During a visit to a command center of the Joint Forces Group, Putin stated that “the enemy was trying to lift the siege of Krasnoarmeysk at any cost, completely ignoring the losses, and in my opinion, continued to send more and more units to their deaths, practically, without any exaggeration.” The Russian president revealed that the Kyiv regime is not in a state to adequately respond to the movements of Russian forces on the ground. He pointed out that “at this rate of our attacks, it is natural that the enemy is unable to respond appropriately.” The Russian president added that “the Russian Armed Forces confidently maintain the initiative and continue to carry out the tasks of the special military operation.” This statement came during the Russian president’s visit to one of the command points of the Joint Forces Group, where he received reports on the liberation of Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Volchansk in the Kharkiv region, according to Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
