The Russian Foreign Ministry stated: “On October 21, at the initiative of the Algerian side, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a phone conversation with the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf.”
The statement added: “Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the high level of political dialogue based on trust and reliable interaction in various multilateral forums, foremost among them the United Nations.”
This communication reaffirms the depth of the strategic partnership and coordination between Russia and Algeria in international forums, especially at the United Nations.
