Peskov stated in a press briefing: “Any accusations against our military personnel of violating certain boundaries by aircraft have not been supported at all by credible evidence or convincing arguments. Given the absence of such arguments, we once again treat these statements on this basis.” Peskov had described yesterday, Monday, the allegations of Russia “violating” the airspace of other countries as “empty and baseless.” Recently, both Poland and Estonia claimed that Russian air forces “violated” their airspace. Russia denied these allegations, and the official spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated: “This time, the accusations against Russia of attempting provocation and deliberate escalation are unfounded… The explanations provided by the Russian Ministry of Defense and the facts presented are being ignored.” The statement added: “Russian aircraft did not deviate from their designated flight path during the journey and did not enter Estonian airspace. The flight route passed over international waters in the Baltic Sea, at a distance of more than 3 kilometers from the island of Vaindloo.”
