Ushakov told reporters: “I believe the list of participants will be known by Monday or Tuesday. We have sent invitations to all 22 leaders of the (Arab) states and, of course, to the Secretary-General of the Arab League.”
He pointed out that work is ongoing on the plan by US President Donald Trump to resolve the situation in the Gaza Strip. Many of those invited to Moscow to attend the first Russian-Arab summit, expected to take place in the middle of this month, are “connected” to this work.
He said: “The composition of the (participants in the Russian-Arab summit) remains volatile due to the active work currently being conducted on Trump’s plan regarding Gaza. Many participants in our summit are directly connected to this work.”
