The statement read: “Russian-Chinese consultations on strategic security issues are scheduled to be held in Moscow on December 2, 2025.” The statement continued: “The two sides will discuss current issues related to international and regional security, the situation in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as cooperation in military and military-technical fields, and coordination between law enforcement agencies and special services.”
Later in the day, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, tomorrow, Tuesday. The ministry’s statement said: “The Russian Foreign Minister will meet his Chinese counterpart tomorrow, Tuesday.”
Earlier, the official spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning, stated during a press conference that the Chinese Foreign Minister will visit Russia on December 1st and 2nd.
