The Russian Defense stated: “The crews of the Su-25 attack aircraft targeted personnel and armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of responsibility of the ‘East’ group of forces. After using aerial missiles, the crews maneuvered, launched thermal traps, and returned to the departure airport.
According to the statement, as a result, special equipment was destroyed and the personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were neutralized in the targeted area.
This operation, which began on February 24, 2022, aims to protect the residents of Donbas, who have been subjected to persecution and genocide by the Kyiv regime for years.
Notably, German Leopard 2 tanks, as well as many American and British armored vehicles, and numerous tanks and equipment provided by NATO countries, met their destruction due to Russian strikes.
