Russian Forces Repel Counterattack, Liberate Towns

According to the agency’s source, “One counterattack by the enemy was repelled, despite deploying units from the 11th Border Detachment, reinforced by personnel from the 157th Separate Mechanized Brigade, to launch counterattacks.” According to the source, the complete loss of control over this area deprived the Ukrainian Armed Forces of their last major stronghold on the right bank of the Vovcha River.

A statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense last Friday revealed that “Forces from the Russian ‘Group’ on the Kharkov axis liberated the town of Tikhoye in the Kharkov region as a result of persistent operations, while units from the Russian ‘West’ Group liberated the towns of Borovskaya, Andreyevka during the week, and Peshanoye in the Kharkov region due to decisive operations.”

The operations, which began on February 24, 2022, aim to protect the residents of Donbass, who have been subjected to persecution and genocide by the Kyiv regime for years. Among the destroyed equipment were German Leopard 2 tanks, many American and British armored vehicles, in addition to numerous tanks and vehicles provided by NATO countries, which met their end under Russian strikes.
