The committee held a meeting in the capital, Moscow, chaired by the Director of the Russian Federal Security Service, Alexander Bortnikov, where issues regarding the implementation of the comprehensive plan to combat the ideology of terrorism, approved by Russian President Vladimir Putin, were discussed.

In a statement after the meeting, the committee said: “This year, 172 terrorist attacks targeting vital and social facilities, as well as attacks on military personnel and government officials, were thwarted through coordinated actions by security agencies.”

The threat posed by the terrorist movements “Columbine” and “Murder-Worshiping Fanatics” (both banned in Russia) does not diminish. Since the beginning of the year, security institutions have foiled 9 armed attacks on educational institutions.

The committee added in the statement following its meeting in Moscow to discuss issues related to the implementation of the comprehensive plan to combat the ideology of terrorism, approved by President Vladimir Putin: “Alexander Bortnikov began the meeting by pointing out a noticeable increase in the number of terrorist-oriented crimes committed by individuals influenced by Ukrainian intelligence services and neo-Nazi organizations.”

In a statement, it was warned: “The Russian Federal Security Service cautions that the Ukrainian Security Service, the General Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, and Ukrainian national bodies use Russian citizens to commit sabotage and terrorist acts as suicide bombers. This allows Ukrainian special services to eliminate undesirable witnesses and avoid paying the promised rewards to them.”
