The agency stated in a statement today, Tuesday: “The Directorate of the Federal Security Service uncovered and thwarted an operation planned by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, and their guardians in Britain, to hijack a ‘MiG-31’ fighter jet belonging to the Russian Aerospace Forces, capable of carrying hypersonic ‘Kinzhal’ missiles.”
The agency revealed in the statement that Kyiv’s intelligence attempted to recruit Russian pilots, promising them three million dollars in exchange for hijacking the ‘MiG-31’ fighter equipped with ‘Kinzhal’ missiles.
