Russia designed this type of launcher to automatically fire 30 mm caliber bombs. It is considered an ideal weapon in terms of the destructive power it causes to the enemy compared to its size, according to a report by the Russian “Rosoboronexport”. The report noted that this has been used in many wars around the world under the harshest combat conditions, indicating that it has proven its efficiency since the first version entered service with the Soviet army in the 1970s.
