Salah and Hakimi Shine in Historic Football Season

Salah and Hakimi had an incredible season with their teams. Hakimi led Paris Saint-Germain to achieve a historic treble (Ligue 1, Coupe de France, and the UEFA Champions League), in addition to securing second place in the United States. Salah guided Liverpool to win the English Premier League title for the 20th time in their history, equaling Manchester United’s record. Salah won the Golden Boot as the top scorer in the league with 29 goals and the award for the best playmaker with 18 assists.

The list includes 8 other players from Paris Saint-Germain, including Ousmane Dembélé, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and Vitinha, alongside 3 players from Liverpool besides Salah, namely Virgil van Dijk, Alexis Mac Allister, and Florian Wirtz. Real Madrid is represented by three players: Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe, and Vinicius Junior, while Barcelona, the Spanish league champion, features four players: Robert Lewandowski, Pedri, Lamine Yamal, and Raphinha.

The list includes notable names such as Erling Haaland (Manchester City), Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), and Cole Palmer (Chelsea), alongside players from major European clubs like Inter Milan and Arsenal. This list reflects an exceptional season marked by strong competition.

The Ballon d’Or is one of the most prestigious individual awards in the world of football, and fans eagerly await the announcement of the winner, with Salah and Hakimi highlighting Arab fans’ hopes for a historic achievement.

Yesterday, Wednesday, the Spanish newspaper “Fechajes” reported that Salah received a lucrative offer to move to the Saudi league. The newspaper confirmed that Salah received an offer to leave Liverpool and transfer to the Saudi Professional League, noting that the Egyptian international is seriously considering this option.

Although the Egyptian star’s contract extends until the summer of 2027, after being renewed last April with a weekly salary of approximately 400,000 British pounds, media reports indicate that interest in him has not waned yet. The newspaper explained that expectations are increasing regarding Mohamed Salah’s departure from Liverpool in 2026 to take on a new challenge, with the Middle East emerging as his next destination.

It hinted that “Salah is seriously considering leaving Liverpool after this season in a move that could be shocking, especially after receiving offers from Saudi Arabia described as ‘hard to refuse’.”
