The Saudi Press Agency “SPA” reported that the Deputy Executive President for Economic Policies and Logistics Services at the Authority, Awad bin Atallah Al-Salmi, stated: “Issuing the Air Operator Certificate to the company as the first foreign private aircraft operator in the Kingdom for domestic operations is an important step towards developing private aviation services in the Kingdom and stimulates sector growth, in addition to raising service quality.” The company will begin its operations within the Kingdom, in a strategic move that reflects the Kingdom’s vision towards attracting qualitative investments and strengthening its position in the global aviation industry, contributing to sector development and enhancing its competitiveness on regional and international levels.

According to “SPA”, this certificate represents “a step towards enhancing the experience of private aviation users and ensuring quality, alongside the continuous efforts made by the authority to provide an attractive investment environment and offering various means of support to enable civil aviation sector activities; which contributes to achieving the objectives of the aviation program and reinforces the authority’s role as a regulator, through building qualitative partnerships with various relevant entities, enhancing sector capabilities, and improving performance efficiency in support of Vision 2030.”

The granting of this certificate comes within the framework of a decision to allow foreign companies operating private aircraft to conduct (on-demand) flights within the Kingdom starting from May 1, 2025, after the company meets all the requirements and standards specified within the civil aviation system’s executive regulations.
