Al Sheikh announced on his Instagram account on Sunday that the entry of the film ‘7Dogs’ into the Guinness World Records was achieved with the support of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in collaboration with security sectors and Al-Hosn Studios in Riyadh. Al Sheikh confirmed that the film ‘7Dogs’ achieved unprecedented accomplishments, enhancing Saudi Arabia’s presence on the global cinema map.

The Saudi official noted that the film succeeded in breaking the record for the largest cinematic explosion in the history of cinema, surpassing the film ‘Spectre’ (2015), which recorded 68.47 tons of TNT, achieving a massive explosion with a power of 170.7 tons.

He explained that the film broke the record set by ‘No Time To Die’ (2021) in the category of the largest explosive scene with high explosives in a single scene, increasing the record from 136.4 kg to 405.85 kg of TNT.

He emphasized that this new achievement reflects the significant development in Saudi Arabia’s artistic production infrastructure as part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals. Al Sheikh pointed out that the film will be released soon amid local and global anticipation.

It is worth mentioning that ‘7Dogs’ is the first film shot in the Big Time Al-Hosn Studios in Riyadh, featuring prominent Arab stars such as the Egyptian duo. It is directed by the international duo Adel & Belal.

Saudi cinema enters a new phase with this achievement, not only through stories and stars but also through technology and creative production that places it among the major cinema industries worldwide.
