A renowned restaurant in Mumbai’s upscale Bandra area, owned by actor Shilpa Shetty, is closing its doors. The Bollywood star shared her farewell to Bastian Bandra on Instagram.

“This Thursday marks the end of an era as we say goodbye to one of Mumbai’s most iconic locations—BASTIAN BANDRA. This venue has provided us with countless memories, unforgettable nights, and moments that shaped the city’s nightlife, now taking its final bow,” she wrote.

The other branch, Bastian at the Top, will remain operational.

“To honor this legendary space, we’re hosting an exclusive evening for our closest patrons—a night filled with nostalgia, energy, and magic, celebrating everything Bastian has represented one last time. While we bid farewell to BASTIAN BANDRA, our Thursday night tradition, Arcane Affair, will continue next week at BASTIAN AT THE TOP, carrying forward the legacy into a new chapter with fresh experiences,” she added.

Bastian Bandra was a favorite spot for several Mumbai celebrities until a few years ago, often attracting paparazzi hoping to spot the stars.

In other news, Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra are facing new controversy after businessman Deepak Kothari, director of Lotus Capital Financial Services Ltd., accused the couple of a Rs6 million fraud.

Their lawyer, Prashant Patil, has denied these allegations. He stated to ANI, “All allegations are false. We have not yet received a copy of the FIR. Once we receive it, we will understand the exact charges. Based on that, we will pursue the next legal steps. This transaction is quite old, 7-8 years back. If someone felt wronged or cheated, they would not wait 8-10 years to complain. There is documentary evidence for everything. If there are any objections, they can approach the EoW. We will also present our truth to the investigating agencies. The truth will emerge.”

According to a report in the Hindustan Times, the businessman alleged that the couple used the funds meant for business expansion for personal expenses.
