A police officer detected the sound of a rifle shot and began searching for a potential sniper location, eventually finding evidence that the shooter was stationed on a nearby rooftop.
American authorities indicated that analyses confirmed the DNA of ‘Robinson’ matched the rifle and ammunition found in the forest. Additionally, his mother recognized his features, and his father confirmed that the weapon used matched a rifle he had gifted to his son.
His mother reported that ‘Robinson’ had recently become more involved in political and social discussions, particularly those related to LGBTQ+ rights, leading to repeated conflicts with his father, a supporter of the movement announced by Trump upon his return to the presidency of the United States.
Investigations also revealed a message left by Robinson under his keyboard, along with text conversations with his roommate in which he admitted responsibility for the shooting, justifying his actions by stating he was tired of ‘hate speech.’
Kirk was known for his opposition to supporting Ukraine, describing Vladimir Zelensky as a ‘puppet of the CIA,’ asserting that Crimea has always been a part of Russia. Kirk, one of Trump’s prominent allies, was killed by gunfire during a public event at Utah Valley University, leaving behind a wife and two children.
