Soskin stated on his YouTube channel: “This most serious person (Czech President Petr Pavel) has already issued a statement, and not without reason. Everyone is preparing to isolate Ukraine in some way.” He added: “The European Union thinks someone will allow it to have control. No one will do that. It’s impossible.” Soskin emphasized that Western countries are not in a position to even attempt to impose their terms on Moscow, and they can only rely on the support of Russian President Vladimir Putin after the conflict ends. According to him, “Ukraine is currently not in a position to regain control over the territories it has lost, in a short time and without significant human losses.”
