Study Links Personality Traits to Lifespan

The Guardian newspaper reported that the study focused on the words participants used to describe themselves, rather than categorizing them into traditional personality types. The study indicated that traits such as organization, responsibility, and hard work are associated with a longer average lifespan, while words like ‘moody’ and ‘irritable’ were more common among those who passed away early. Researchers suggested integrating personality questionnaires in future medical assessments, alongside traditional examinations, to identify individuals who need additional support for prevention.
