The satellites successfully entered their designated orbit, marking a complete achievement of the mission. The “Long March 8A” rocket is an improved version of the “Long March 8” rocket, which was first launched in December 2020. It features a new design for the second stage of the rocket, providing greater payload capacity in orbit, as it can carry about 7,000 kilograms to a Sun-synchronous orbit (SSO) at an altitude of 700 km.
