Sushila Karki, Nepal’s former chief justice, emerges as the top candidate for interim leadership, according to a ‘Gen Z’ protester representative on Thursday, following protests that led to the veteran prime minister’s removal.
“Currently, Sushila Karki’s name is being considered to head the interim government — we’re awaiting the president’s decision,” Rakshya Bam, a participant in a meeting with the army chief about the nation’s future leadership, told AFP.
