This announcement came as U.S. President Donald Trump awarded Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor in the United States. The ministry stated in a post on Platform X, Tuesday, “The United States is not obligated to host foreigners who wish death upon Americans.”
The ministry noted that the foreigners whose visas have been canceled hold nationalities from South Africa, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, and Paraguay. The ministry mentioned that an Argentine citizen accused Kirk in a post.
Additionally, the ministry stated that another foreigner wrote a post in German saying, “When fascists die, democrats don’t complain.” The ministry affirmed that it will continue to identify visa holders who it claims celebrated Kirk’s assassination during an event at the University of Utah last month.
Previously, the United States warned that it would take action against foreigners who “praise, justify, or belittle Kirk’s death.”
