The US President also announced that the United States would participate in a meeting on Saturday with representatives from Europe and Ukraine, provided there is a good chance of reaching a peace agreement, saying:
Trump confirmed that the United States is not a party to the conflict over Ukraine, but he emphasized the continued sale of weapons to NATO for the benefit of Kyiv. Trump said: “We sell weapons to NATO at full price. As you know, they distribute these weapons, mostly to Ukraine. They might do it with other countries too. But we are not involved in the war,” adding that the role of the United States is limited to participating in negotiations aimed at resolving the conflict.
