Building on the groundbreaking collaboration between Al Maryah Community Bank (Mbank) and the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), AE Coin payments for judicial services are now a reality. Mohammed Sultan Al-Naimi Advocates and Legal Consultations has become the UAE’s first law firm to accept legal fees through AE Coin, the country’s first Central Bank-regulated AED stablecoin.

This achievement signals a new chapter in digital transformation within the legal sector, offering clients a secure, efficient, and compliant payment experience through the AEC Wallet, powered by Mbank.

“As a forward-thinking law firm, we are proud to support national efforts to digitalize services across various sectors,” said Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Founder of Mohammed Sultan Al-Naimi Advocates and Legal Consultations. “Accepting AE Coin allows us to provide our clients with a seamless, transparent, and locally compliant payment option, setting a new standard in regional legal practice.”

As the UAE’s first fully digital bank and AE Coin’s banking partner, Mbank offers the secure infrastructure and regulatory framework enabling AE Coin transactions via blockchain technology.

Mohammed Wassim Khayata, CEO of Mbank, commented, “The adoption of AE Coin by a respected legal firm like Mohammed Sultan Al-Naimi Advocates and Legal Consultations highlights our mission to integrate blockchain-powered financial solutions into everyday services. This partnership exemplifies how banking and legal sectors can collaborate to drive innovation while maintaining trust and compliance.”

Ramez Rafeek, General Manager of AED Stablecoin, added, “This landmark use case demonstrates blockchain’s potential to enhance the UAE’s legal and financial systems. The leadership shown by Mohammed Sultan Al-Naimi Advocates and Legal Consultations in adopting AE Coin paves the way for broader digital payment acceptance in the legal industry, aligning with the UAE’s smart government vision.”
