The UAE Lottery has announced that its first-ever Dh100-million grand prize has been won, marking a historic achievement in the nation’s gaming industry.
In a Sunday statement, the lottery operator confirmed that verification processes are underway. “We are conducting due diligence as part of our standard procedures to ensure all internal checks, security protocols, and compliance with the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) are met before releasing further details about the winner and awarding the prize,” stated the UAE Lottery.
The UAE Lottery website reveals the winner as Anilkum** B**. Describing the jackpot as a “historic milestone for our winner, our organization, and the UAE’s gaming and entertainment sector,” the operator mentioned that more information about the winner will be shared once the verification is complete.

Since participants must be UAE residents aged 18 and above, the jackpot winner is confirmed to be an Emirates resident. The winner matched all seven numbers in the draw, overcoming odds of 1 in 8,835,372 to claim the Dh100 million prize—the largest lottery payout in UAE history.
Earlier this year, Bishop Woosley, Director of Lottery Operations at The Game, which manages the UAE Lottery, told Khaleej Times that a jackpot win was likely despite the long odds. “It’s a probability game,” he said. “There may be two or three consecutive draws with a jackpot win, and then none for a few draws.”
Although multiple winners can occur in a draw, this time there was only one jackpot ticket holder, allowing the winner to claim the full Dh100 million, purchased with a Dh50 ticket.
The latest draw also resulted in thousands of smaller prize winners. A total of 7,145 players won prizes ranging from Dh100 to Dh100,000. Three individuals won Dh100,000 each, 67 players received Dh1,000, and 7,067 players claimed Dh100 each. There were no Dh1 million winners in this draw.
Since its inception in December last year, the UAE Lottery has awarded Dh1 million to four winners and distributed lower-tier prizes to over 100,000 participants. However, Saturday’s Dh100 million jackpot is its most significant prize to date.
