The UAE Lottery has officially launched, nearly four months after its initial announcement. Tickets are available on the official website, www.theuaelottery.ae. Managed by The Game LLC, this is the UAE’s first and only regulated lottery.
With a ticket price of Dh50, participants have a chance to win a Dh100 million jackpot. The first live draw is set for December 14.

What games can participants play?
Currently, the lottery features two games:
- Lucky Day
- Scratch Cards
More games are expected to be introduced soon.
How to play ‘Lucky Day’?
Each ‘Lucky Day’ entry costs Dh50. Players select six numbers from ‘Days’ and one from ‘Months’.
The jackpot is won by matching all seven numbers. For those matching all six ‘Days’ numbers, the second prize (Dh1 million) is awarded.
Matching five ‘Days’ numbers and one ‘Months’ number wins the third prize (Dh100,000). If five ‘Days’ numbers or four ‘Days’ and one ‘Months’ number match, the fourth prize (Dh1,000) is claimed.
Matching three ‘Days’ and one ‘Months’, or two ‘Days’ and one ‘Months’, or one ‘Days’ and one ‘Months’, or just one ‘Months’ number wins the fifth prize (Dh100).
What are the odds of winning?
The UAE Lottery provides these odds:
- Jackpot (Dh100 million): 1 in 8,835,372
- 2nd prize (Dh1 million): 1 in 803,216
- 3rd prize (Dh100,000): 1 in 58,902
- 4th Prize (Dh1,000): 1 in 1,437
- 5th Prize (Dh100): 1 in 12.1
What is a ‘Lucky Chance’?
Each ticket comes with a ‘Lucky Chance ID’. During each Lucky Day draw, a separate ‘Lucky Chance’ draw occurs. For the first draw on December 14, seven ‘Lucky Chance IDs’ will win Dh100,000 each.
What if there are multiple jackpot winners?
The jackpot is divided equally among all winning tickets.
How often is the draw?
The live draw happens every other Saturday at 8.30pm, UAE time.
When can you buy tickets?
Tickets are available from 10pm on draw days until 7pm on the following Saturday. Ticket sales pause from 7pm to 10pm during the live draw.
Can an entry win multiple prizes?
Each entry can win only once per draw. If multiple wins occur, the highest prize is awarded.
What are scratch cards?
Scratch cards offer a chance to win up to Dh1 million. Prices start at Dh5, with top prizes of Dh50,000. Dh10 cards offer Dh100,000, Dh20 cards offer Dh300,000, and Dh50 cards offer Dh1 million.
