Immediate Ceasefire in Gaza

The UAE reiterated its diplomatic approach to resolving the ongoing conflict in the Palestinian territories, urging an immediate, permanent ceasefire.

The UAE also called for lifting the Gaza siege, releasing hostages and detainees, and ensuring large-scale, unhindered humanitarian aid delivery.

“Today’s Palestinian-Israeli conflict serves only to benefit extremists and war advocates, undermining peace efforts,” Nusseibeh stated.

“Targeting civilians, sieging, starving, or forcibly displacing populations is unjustifiable,” she added, condemning expansionist ambitions and hostage-taking.

The UAE condemned the attack on Qatar, labeling it a breach of international law and regional security.

Emphasizing a long-term resolution, the UAE advocated for a two-state solution, with a sovereign Palestinian state alongside Israel.

“A sovereign Palestinian state is crucial for a lasting, just, and comprehensive resolution, fulfilling Palestinian aspirations and ensuring stability,” Nusseibeh asserted.

The UAE encouraged more nations to recognize Palestine, emphasizing its commitment to the cause.
