Thursday’s weather forecast from the National Centre of Meteorology predicts fair to partly cloudy skies.
There is a chance of convective clouds forming in the east, potentially leading to afternoon showers. Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally picking up and causing some dust.
Temperatures could soar to 47ºC nationwide, reaching 43ºC in Abu Dhabi and 41ºC in Dubai.
Conversely, lows might drop to 31ºC in Abu Dhabi, 32ºC in Dubai, and 23ºC in mountainous areas.
Humidity is expected to increase overnight and into Friday morning in some western regions, with fog or mist possible. Humidity levels will vary from 30 to 80 per cent in Abu Dhabi and 35 to 70 per cent in Dubai.
Sea conditions will be calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
