Residents in the UAE should prepare for rain on Wednesday, September 3, as forecasted by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). The country is undergoing changing weather patterns.

The expected showers arise from convective clouds forming in the east, which may spread to some inland areas.

The UAE is influenced by both surface and upper-level low-pressure systems from the south, along with the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) moving north toward the Emirates.

This weather brings a moist air mass from the Arabian Sea and Sea of Oman towards the UAE, according to the NCM.

Until Friday, September 5, rain is anticipated in some eastern and southern regions, extending to certain internal areas.

Convective clouds could bring rain of varying intensities, sometimes with lightning, thunder, and small hail, especially on Wednesday and Thursday.

On Wednesday, weather will be generally fair to partly cloudy, becoming humid at night and Thursday morning in some coastal areas, with a chance of mist.

Winds will be light to moderate from the southeast to northeast, occasionally fresh to strong, causing dust and sand to blow, with speeds of 10-25 km/hr, reaching 45 km/hr.

The Arabian Gulf will see slight seas, while the Oman Sea will be slight to moderate.

Dubai temperatures will peak at 40ºC and drop to 31ºC, while Sharjah will see highs of 41ºC and lows of 31ºC. In Abu Dhabi, highs will reach 41ºC and lows 31ºC.
