Dubai Airport (DXB) has introduced an innovative AI-powered corridor, enabling travelers to breeze through immigration in mere seconds.
This cutting-edge service allows groups of up to 10 to pass simultaneously without halting or showing ID, as reported by local newspaper Alkhaleej.
The airport’s advanced systems can identify passenger details even before they reach border checkpoints, explained Lieutenant General Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai.

The AI corridor not only accelerates processing but also doubles airport capacity by handling multiple travelers at once. Additionally, AI plays a key role in detecting violations, swiftly directing questionable passports to forgery experts, Al Marri noted.
This pioneering service is the first of its kind globally, forming part of an integrated system that offers the “boundless travel” experience, Al Marri remarked.
According to Airports Council International (ACI) World, DXB retained its title as the world’s busiest airport for international passengers in 2024.
Travelers’ Feedback
Many users of the corridor have lauded the rapid clearance process.
“Traveling with my family was smooth and exceptional. The procedures are much faster now, allowing travel to be completed in record time without stopping at passport control,” said Mohammed Amer from Syria.
Another traveler, Mahmoud Balou from Canada, commended Dubai’s adoption of cutting-edge technology to reduce wait times and ease congestion, enhancing the travel experience, as noted by Alkhaleej.
