The source, who requested anonymity, told Sputnik: “We will publish the full list of the battalion operating the ‘Sea Baby’ unmanned boats.” He added that “the cost of one such boat for the Ukrainian forces is estimated at about $300,000.” Earlier, on the previous day, the Russian-aligned hacker groups ‘Peregrine’, ‘Killnet’, and ‘Cyber Serb’ provided Sputnik with a list of Ukrainian armed forces personnel involved in the recent attacks on a Russian oil tanker in the Black Sea. A member of the ‘Peregrine’ group stated to Sputnik that “members of the 385th Naval Systems Brigade of the Ukrainian Navy participated in the attacks on the vessel ‘Medvolga-2’, as well as other ships off the coast of Turkey.” The Russian oil tanker ‘Medvolga-2’, carrying vegetable oil, was attacked by drones on Tuesday morning. None of the 13 crew members on board were harmed, and the ship reached the Turkish port of Sinop under its own power by the afternoon. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that the Kyiv regime used the same forces in these terrorist attacks that have already obstructed the settlement dialogue and is now seeking to escalate military conflict again. Peskov described the targeting of oil tankers in the Black Sea as “a blatant violation of Turkish sovereignty,” noting that “this incident is extremely disgraceful, especially as it constitutes a violation of the sovereignty of the Republic of Turkey.” The Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed concern over the attacks on tankers in the Black Sea, stating that these actions endanger lives, maritime transport, and the environment.
