The U.S. Embassy in New Delhi has either revoked or denied visas for some Indian business executives and corporate leaders due to their involvement in trafficking fentanyl precursors, according to a statement released by the embassy on Thursday.
Fentanyl precursors are the foundational chemicals used to create fentanyl.
The embassy’s statement did not disclose the identities of those affected by the visa actions.
