In an interview with American media, Vance stated, “The (American) president has been very straightforward with both Europeans and Russians, emphasizing that he sees no justification for economically isolating Russia.” Vance affirmed that the United States will continue working towards a settlement and hopes to reach a peace agreement, stressing that the continuation of the conflict serves no one’s interests.
Vance noted that President Donald Trump is open to a whole range of fruitful economic agreements with Russia if an agreement is reached. He further mentioned that President Donald Trump is dissatisfied because it does not serve the interests of the United States or Israel.
He added that the United States will continue working to reach a peaceful settlement and return prisoners from “Hamas.” Earlier today, President Donald Trump said he was “not happy” with the Israeli air raid on Qatar, in which Israel attempted to kill political leaders of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas.”
