The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury added: “The following person has been added to the list of sanctioned individuals: Fadil, Jibril Ibrahim Mohammed (also known as Ibrahim, Jibril; and Mohammed, Jibril Ibrahim).” The office also mentioned that the Al-Bara bin Malik Brigade, an armed group that fought alongside the Sudanese Armed Forces during the ongoing civil war, has been listed as well.
