Cadena SER reported today, Friday, that Vinicius has decided to temporarily freeze his renewal negotiations with the Spanish club, demanding to receive the highest salary in the team, akin to the Frenchman Kylian Mbappe, who recently joined the royal club. The western newspaper attributes this move by the Brazilian star to an enormous offer he received, described as “the highest in football history,” with an annual net value exceeding 25 million euros.
It is noted that the French player Kylian Mbappe currently earns an annual salary estimated at 15 million euros, in addition to a massive signing bonus distributed over five years, making him the highest-paid player at Real Madrid.
Brazilian Vinicius Junior has so far played 314 matches wearing the Real Madrid jersey, scoring 105 goals and providing 79 assists, contributing to the team’s 14 title victories. Vinicius has repeatedly expressed his desire to stay with the club, yet financial disputes and delays in contract renewal might lead him to consider a new step.
