The video sparked a wave of sarcastic and astonished comments after an unconfirmed story spread, claiming that the young man cut off the electricity to his village because his girlfriend’s phone was busy! This amusing explanation divided followers between those who saw it as a comedic situation and those who considered it a new proof that love can drive one to madness. However, the truth was entirely different. The young man shown in the video is named ‘Anwar,’ and he was simply performing his usual job of maintaining power lines, specifically in the village of ‘Nekashi’ in the state of Assam, northeastern India. His friend, who owns a channel on a social media platform, revealed that the video was shot in June, confirming that the circulating story has no connection to reality. He jokingly added, ‘We were fixing the electricity… and suddenly we became the heroes of a love story!’
