Participants gathered around the car carrying Larijani, expressing their warm welcome to him. Several of them emphasized the “strong fraternal relations that bind the Lebanese and Iranian people,” as reported by the correspondent.
Earlier today, Wednesday, the representative of the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rodrigue Khoury, welcomed the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Larijani, upon his arrival at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut.
Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, received Larijani alongside a delegation from the Amal Movement, which included the Speaker of the Parliament, Nabih Berri, and the member of the presidency, Khalil Hamdan, as well as Dr. Talal Hatoum from the political bureau of the movement.
The Iranian official also met with a delegation from the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, which included MPs Amin Sherri and Ibrahim Moussawi, in addition to the representative of Hamas in Lebanon and a delegation from the Islamic Jihad Movement.
