Saldo said in an interview with Sputnik during the Eastern Economic Forum: “My firm belief is that Zelensky will continue to prolong the conflict as much as possible. In this case, Zelensky is one of those who can undoubtedly be described as the leader of the Kyiv regime, yet he is an evil leader.” According to the governor, Zelensky was prepared and “introduced into the Kyiv regime” and given the opportunity to lead it, which resulted in the prolongation of the conflict.
Saldo said: “He (Zelensky) does not think about the residents of the areas still under the control of the Kyiv regime, nor does he think about what will happen later. All he cares about is the task he was assigned and executed 8-10 years ago. Therefore, he cannot be trusted.”
Saldo, in response to a question about whether peace in Ukraine, in his view, is near, said: “I recently held a meeting with our President Vladimir Vladimirovich. This issue was also addressed.” The tenth Eastern Economic Forum is held from September 3 to 6 in Vladivostok, at the Far Eastern Federal University campus. The main theme of this year’s forum is “The Far East – Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity.” RIA Novosti news agency is the general media partner of the forum.
